Antimicrobial coating - especially for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food packaging

The varnish was specially developed for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food packaging to provide active surface protection, surface disinfection. The active principle was tested on a printed sample against the bacterial species Escherichia-coli (E.

coli) and Staphyloccocus aureus (S. aureus) and showed a reduction of up to 99.99%. Packaging is produced germ-free. Once they reach the shelves of retailers and pharmacies, they are exposed to human germs and viruses. 

This is where the antibacterial and antiviral effect of our varnish kicks in and protects consumers. Through any kind of contact, we can take over and transmit germs. The packaging is often forgotten as a potential carrier and not taken into account in hygiene concepts. With the "VIRBA" lacquering it is now possible that the product packaging remains as neutral as possible and neutralizes germs of any kind. 

When applied correctly, the "VIRBA" coating is capable of eliminating possible viral contamination of packaging surfaces.
