Climate protection targets have already been firmly anchored in the RATTPACK® corporate strategy for several years and CO2 reduction measures are continuously implemented.

Since recently, RATTPACK® Flexibles has additionally been working together with ClimatePartner. In the course of this cooperation, we have, among other things, calculated our own ecological footprint and can now share it for the first time. And you can support us in this! 

We offer you the option of manufacturing your packaging solution with us and optionally offsetting the resulting CO2 emissions with a financial climate contribution. With this you support certified climate protection projects from ClimatePartner. 

The use of claims in connection with environmental labels, such as sustainable, recyclable or climate-neutral, is coming under increasing criticism because there are no binding definitions. are lacking. ClimatePartner will therefore deliberately refrain from using the terminology "climate neutral" in the future. 

We at RATTPACK® Flexibles therefore also speak of "printing with a financial climate contribution".

In the coming half-year, the corrugated board and cartonboard sectors will also begin their ClimatePartner cooperation. These certifications and product solutions are the next major steps in the sustainability strategy of the RATTPACK® Group. Many more measures will be taken in order to continue to make our contribution to global climate protection.

The ClimatePartner label stands for transparency and traceability of a company's overall climate protection strategy.

Why finance climate protection projects?

Certified climate protection projects demonstrably save CO2 emissions or bind CO2 from the atmosphere and additionally contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) worldwide. This financial support is urgent and necessary in addition to the reduction of emissions, because in climate protection it is important to act quickly and effectively. 

* PCR (Post Consumer Recycling) is the term used to describe plastics that have been disposed of, recycled and reprocessed in such a way that they can be used again for food packaging is possible. In this way, the circular economy can be expanded.
