We are one of the few European companies to have a wax laminating system in operation. This system can be used to partially wax-laminate narrow aluminum strips wax laminated - ideal for the production of chocolate and candy wrappers.
Wax lamination.
In wax lamination, we use kerosene (wax) as an adhesive in various compositions and with different properties. In a melted state, the kerosene is finally applied to one of the two one of the two carrier materials and these are bonded together. This process is ideal for the production of paper-aluminum foil laminations or pure aluminum foil laminates, which are often used for the packaging of sweets, chocolates and other baked goods.
By the way: narrow web laminations with other substrates, which are particularly suitable for technical applications, are also possible with RATTPACK®. For mono and laminated films with partial or full-surface hotmelt coating - contact us!
Strip wax lamination
Strip-laminated wax wrappers are mainly used in the confectionery industry, for example for sweets or chocolate pralines. At RATTPACK® we rely on dimensionally stable OPP and PET films, which are processed in combination with aluminum strips to produce high-quality wax wrapper films.
The films used are either transparent, white or metallized and can be printed on both sides (front and back). We process aluminum foils, for example, in thicknesses of thicknesses of 8 and 10 my from a width of 55 mm.
Full-surface wax lamination
For butter, frying fats or yeast - at RATTPACK® you can obtain fully wax-laminated packaging materials in various combinations. These are ideal for use as fat wrappers, such as aluminum foil in combination with tissue paper.

Wax-coated papers
Waxed papers are an excellent packaging solution for chewy sweets, for example. At RATTPACK® we produce fully wax-coated papers with various coating weights. coating weights.
In combination with single-color printing using our laminating system, you receive a high-quality product that is also a cost-effective alternative to other printing processes.
