Hi zemma!

My name is Sven Decker, I am 28 years old and I have been Head of Training at RATTPACK® since 2024. My career began in 2012 with my apprenticeship as a packaging technician at our site in Dornbirn. Fun fact: Back then, I also got a taste of working at Giko (now RATTPACK Weiler), also as a packaging technician.

Even during my apprenticeship, it was important to me to get the best not only for myself, but also for my fellow apprentices. For example, I organized visits to die suppliers or negotiated with our trainer so that we could prepare for the LAP during working hours.

About six months after completing my apprenticeship, in 2016, I completed the trainer course and was able to actively contribute to the further development of the apprenticeship system from then on.

For over a year now, I have been able to concentrate fully on apprentice training in all our plants. Whether it's taking on new apprentices, preparing them for the LAP or organizing activities or organizing activities, everyday life is full of milestones.

We recently achieved a very special milestone at our Dornbirn site: We were certified by the state as an excellent training company. This seal of quality is more than just a nice advertisement. It shows that we really care about our apprentices. And it proves that we go far beyond mere specialist training.

A snapshot is not enough for this award. The continuous quality over five years is assessed. This means that every single day counts. Every day on which we support our apprentices not only professionally, but also personally.

I think it's great that some of the trainers I was able to learn from are still working in Dornbirn today. I can say with conviction: we teach you how packaging really works. really works.
